Liver
The liver is inside your belly.
It helps clean your blood.
It helps your body digest food.
Kidneys
The kidneys help clean your blood.
They make urine to remove waste.
Most people have two kidneys.
Stomach
The stomach helps break down food.
It mixes food with digestive juices.
It sends the food to the intestines.
Small Intestine
The small intestine helps absorb nutrients from food.
This is where your body takes in vitamins and energy.
It is long and coiled.
Large Intestine
The large intestine absorbs water from food waste.
It helps make stool.
It stores waste until it leaves the body.
How to Use
1. Match object: Choose an organ model and match it to the correct picture card or control card. Say the organ name.
2. Match picture: Lay out the picture cards. Match each picture card to the correct control card (picture + label).
3. Match label to picture: Read the word card and place it under the matching picture card.
4. Read the description: Read the description card for each organ.
